Dungeons & Feelings is the strategy / social board game hybrid where the only way to conquer your dungeon is to open up, dig deep, and share your opinions, stories, and feelings. Dungeons & Feelings is inspired by classic 16 bit adventure video games (especially those games starring a certain blond haired, evil-banishing-sword carrying hero of time) and distills their mechanics into easily accessible board game form.

You will have many items at your disposal to conquer your dungeon, but to craft them, you will need to ask your fellow players to open up, dig deep, and answer an interesting, thought-provoking question about themselves.
Crafting involves combining two resource cards. Each resource card has a word or phrase - create a question for your fellow players by tying together these two prompts. See below for some examples of what you might come up with:

Strategically design your own dungeon - along the way, you will fight monsters, avoid traps, and discover treasure as you gain experience, level up, and acquire loot. When you are ready, you will fight the Dragon and emerge victorious. #winning
Dungeons & Feelings is a 3-4 player, non-aggressive, Euro game style approach to dungeon crawling. It fuses elements of tile placing, crafting, role playing, with get-to-know-you ice breaker question mechanics quite unlike any game you've played before.

Because we're fans too
D&F is meant to be accessible. We’ve taken concepts from dungeon crawling games and simplified them into their basic elements. Anyone should be able to jump in and play regardless of the familiarity with the games that inspired it.
While everyone is trying to win, the game is not aggressive. The concept of attacking another player or stealing their resources doesn’t exist. D&F was created to develop connections between players, not hostility. Fight monsters, not each other.
There are many paths to victory in D&F. Whether you enjoy selling treasure to merchants or slaying an army of baddies, D&F can accommodate your play style.
There are two primary game modes - Shared Dungeon Mode and Individual Dungeon Mode - with more on the way! We want to create value to our customers by providing new ways to play even after your initial purchase, no additional expansion packs required. Heck, if you're tired and just want to crack open a drink and gab with your friends, you can just go through the resource cards and create questions for each other. D&F has flexibility.
We really don’t care for games where players are eliminated and relegated to observers. D&F was specifically designed so that all players can be in it until the end, with mechanics that create momentum within the game to bring it to a timely, inevitable conclusion. No more single games spanning multiple nights.

There are thousands of card combinations for crafting so you will always have new prompts to form questions and discover new things about your fellow players.

Opening up and bonding with your friends isn’t just fun, it’s good for your mental health. Many people, especially men, struggle to share their feelings, leading to pent up depression. Statistics bear this out, as men are four times as likely than women to commit suicide. While sharing experiences and feelings through a game won’t solve mental health issues on its own, it’s a positive first step.

Origins
Every year, our friends take a trip into the mountains to hang out, unwind, and most importantly, play A LOT of board games. We always enjoy classic strategy board games, but we also like the lighter, social games as well. Specifically, we have a stack of cards with conversation starters on them – deep questions meant to provoke thought, share stories, and create meaningful connections. There always seems to be a night on the trip where we gravitate towards those deep question cards. It’s become a highlight of our trip, and we’ve all grown a lot closer, learning more about each other as a result.
So one day we had the idea to combine the two – create a strategy board game with a social element, and thus Dungeons and Feelings was born.
